Main Job Responsibilities:
To handle the Customer Service Requests (CSR) assigned, while using SCS according to global processes and procedures
To escalate the CSR to Network Support Group (NSG) while it can not be answered/solved within the time limit
To review the answer/solution received and monitor the CSR handling progress while the answer/solution is deployed
To maintain the system records for software, system features and network configurations for assigned customers
To give guidance upon Operation & Maintenance instructions
To initiate the Implementation of proactive maintenance procedures
To perform all necessary activities to ensure that In-Service performance objectives related to the assigned customer are achieved.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor Science in telecommunication, computer science or other related fields.
At least 3 years working experience as Support Engineer within Telecommunication fields. Some working experience as software designer is a plus.
Professional technical knowledge, including: Platform knowledge with Sun Solaris; Database knowledge with Sybase & Versant; Protocol knowledge with TCP/IP UDP SNMP; Middle ware knowledge with Veritas Volume Manager & Cluster Server
Good communication skills
Self motivated & a good team member
Fluent in both spoken & written English
